The photo above was again taken on Lake Coeur d’ Alene. I used less of a blue filter, but I did use a much higher level of a gradients filter. I was going for the very hipster effect. I wanted people to look at the photo and go WOW I would love to ride that jeep around that lake.
The photo above was taken with an eight second shutter on top of the Coeur d’ Alene Resort part Lot. I really wanted people to be able to see this photo and realize we have this beautiful town just smack in between the woods and the lake. I used a solid Blue Filter then turned it to Overlay so it was not as dominant. Just as the photo before it was taken on top of the Resort parking lot. It was also taken with an 8 second shutter speed. I want people to be amazed. This photo was taken on top of the Coeur d’ Alene Resort Parking Garage facing South toward the lake. I used a tannish blue filer to achieve the blue effect. I also used an eight second shutter. This second collection of photos is my slow shutter speed life in nature section. I wanted to be on top of 95 to get a view of the city through the mountain but unfortunately the city lights from that vantage were a little bit weak so I turned my camera around and shot the trucks and cars just whizzing past the beautiful scenery. Truly showing how we live in nature. On all of these photos I used a eight second shutter.
The majority of the slow shutter speed photos were taken around 10 O’clock at night with an eight second shutter speed!
This was an very extra ordinary experience because for once I had a car coming at me at the same time that a car was driving into town. I used an eight second shutter speed and I used a solid blue fill to give it a night effect because the long shutter speed really lightened it too.
Although this photo appears to be in day light it was pitch black outside. With a long shutter speed. The light to the far right of the photo is the head lights of my jeep.
This photo was one of my favorite ones as well as my first long shutter speed with a a camera basically ever!! I would like to take many of these photos in the future peace out high school photography!!!
